TEACHING THE AUTISM COMMUNITY TRADES
The mission of TACT is to encourage and empower the full spectrum of individuals with autism through education in skilled trades.
WHAT WE DO
The autism community is the highest unemployment sector in the country at 90%. T.A.C.T’s programs lead to employable jobs and lasting careers. However, our goal isn’t just get “a” job. It’s getting the right job, in the right place that is personally fulfilling to each student based on their strengths.
Our transition program is unique and unlike any other program in the country. T.A.C.T is the first and only trade program for individuals with autism available. Our students learn so much more than just a trade. They find their purpose.
Interests and talents can turn into careers. Developing and nurturing these unique abilities can make life more fulfilling for a person with Autism.

There aren’t enough good things I can say about TACT and their team! They are creative, adaptive, affordable and truly care about their mission.

Thank you!! You have all been so very wonderful!! We truly appreciate everything you have done not only for Cole, but for all of these kiddos. TACT has been one of the BEST programs Cole has ever had. We would have never known he had an interest in woodworking!!
R usually stays on task 20min at a time. At TACT he stayed on task for 58 min straight.
I’ve been working with him for 3 years and I’ve never seen him so engaged.

My ASD kid LOVES this stuff. More hands-on auto-mechanics than he would ever get in public school, and in a group setting where he doesn’t stand out as ‘different’.
Thank you for giving him something to truly enjoy! I know he feels satisfaction with school, but this was a different kind of accomplishment for him.
T.A.C.T. is the first and only trade program in the entire country developed exclusively for individuals with autism!
We envision a world where neurodiversity is not only embraced but inherently valued. A world where the full spectrum of the autism community can contribute their talents and gifts and find personal fulfillment.
